Account Executive - Dermatology - West Yorkshire & Harrogate

Our client is a rapidly growing UK based pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer. They specialise in bringing to market a range of quality, cost effective products that meet the challenges of modern day healthcare delivery. Innovation is integral to how they operate, and as such they are making significant investments into research and development to develop clinically effective and affordable medicines.

With a vast pipeline of products spanning various therapy areas this is an exciting time to join a winning team.

They are looking to appoint a talented, experienced salesperson to achieve sales targets by delivering product campaigns and activities to target audiences identified within the account/local health economy plan and to gather intelligence to be fed back to key internal stakeholders.

In this role you will have full autonomy of your territory, planning and organising your own success through interaction with key customers, to include GP's, Pharmacists (IP/practice based/retail), ANP's, PCN's, CCG's and STP's.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering and executing effective and efficient territory planning to deliver targeted territory sales performance within an agreed budget
  • Achieving KPI's, call targets, and sales targets
  • Preparing analysing and reporting on calls in order to progress the relationship and develop skills.
  • Liaising with a variety of customers including CCG/STP/PCN leads, GPs, Nurses and Pharmacists to produce immediate sales impact whilst taking responsibility for building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Planning, managing, arranging, and attending stand meetings, trade shows, events, and campaigns

Key candidate Requirements:

  • Substantive experience of Primary and Secondary Care selling
  • Experience of selling Dermatology products is advantageous but not essential
  • Access to PCN's, CCG / STP's at all levels
  • Experience and capability of delivering against sales strategy with excellent planning and organising ability
  • Highly motivated, influential and able to use own initiative to achieve targets
  • Exceptional selling, interpersonal and presentation skills

The successful candidate must have a proven history of strong sales performance as well as a thorough understanding of the NHS, including the ability to identify key decision makers to deliver desirable outcomes, across primary care and secondary care.

The position comes with a very attractive basic salary, bonus and car allowance.
