Area Business Manager - North UK (Scotland, N Ireland, Lancashire, NEast and Cumbria)

The role of ABM has the following critical functions:
To facilitate a continuous process of improvement in the results, quality and skills of sales professionals through effective coaching, motivation, support and guidance
To develop area strategies and drive the creation of business plans for customers and brands. Lead the execution of the plan through a team of Key Account Managers and Clinical Specialists.
To ensure consistent implementation of Marketing strategies at area level through effective leadership of a team of Key Account Managers and Clinical Specialists, with a view of discovering and exploiting business opportunities, across the entire health economy, in order to achieve agreed objectives
Qualifications and personal attributes:
Experience in 1st line management of Sales Professionals and experience in front line hospital sales/ Key Account Management
Comprehensive knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry and the NHS
Strong leadership qualities
Flexibility and adaptability
Conscientious with a can-do attitude
Confidence and assertiveness
Ability to adapt to and lead change
