Area Business Manager - North UK (Scotland, N Ireland, Lancashire, NEast and Cumbria)

The role of ABM has the following critical functions:

• To facilitate a continuous process of improvement in the results, quality and skills of sales professionals through effective coaching, motivation, support and guidance

• To develop area strategies and drive the creation of business plans for customers and brands. Lead the execution of the plan through a team of Key Account Managers and Clinical Specialists.

• To ensure consistent implementation of Marketing strategies at area level through effective leadership of a team of Key Account Managers and Clinical Specialists, with a view of discovering and exploiting business opportunities, across the entire health economy, in order to achieve agreed objectives

Qualifications and personal attributes:

• Experience in 1st line management of Sales Professionals and experience in front line hospital sales/ Key Account Management

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry and the NHS

• Strong leadership qualities

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Conscientious with a can-do attitude

• Confidence and assertiveness

• Performance orientation

• Ability to adapt to and lead change
