Key Account Manager - Ophthalmology - London

They are the fastest growing UK healthcare company with an industry leading portfolio of recently launched brands and an exciting pipeline of indication extensions and new chemical entities targeting areas of high unmet clinical need.
A new opportunity has been created for a forward-thinking Key Account Manager to propel sales of a best in class NICE approved Ophthalmology Macular Degeneration medicine.
In true Key Account Management style, you will be influencing decision makers within targeted Hospitals and CCG's to include Key Ophthalmologist personnel with the aim of securing formulary acceptance and developing Patient Pathways.
You will be fully responsible for your own territory, so an entrepreneurial mind is vital as well as a passion for customer and account development. Ultimately you should understand the commissioning landscape and the levels involved.
We would like to hear from successful Key Account Managers who can demonstrate the ability to embrace and implement the true concept of Key Account Management including the management of appropriate financial pathways to ensure product acceptance at all levels.
In addition, you must be able to demonstrate successful cross collaboration with your wider internal team in tandem with a high level of negotiating skills and the ability to work independently.
Ophthalmology experience would be desirable but not absolutely essential.
