Championing Access for Patients

As Market Access Lead, you will spearhead the development and execution of market access strategies across all portfolios You will navigate complex healthcare systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and successful launch for new products. Your expertise will be instrumental in securing favorable pricing and reimbursement decisions, ensuring patients have the access they need to life-saving treatments.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Unlocking Reimbursement Potential: Identify unmet needs addressed by the company's products, navigate the pricing and reimbursement environment, and prepare the market for successful product launches.
  • Securing Optimal Launch Positioning: Develop compelling value messages to convince reimbursement authorities, ensuring patients receive the treatments at the right price and as quickly as possible.
  • Guaranteeing Long-Term Access: Collaborate with healthcare systems to ensure the company's products are readily available for appropriate prescribers and patients. Develop strategies to maintain pricing, expand access, and demonstrate the ongoing value these treatments bring to the healthcare system.
  • Market Insights and Strategy: Develop national and regional value communication plans, stay abreast of healthcare landscape trends, and map key stakeholders.

Beyond core responsibilities, you will work seamlessly with internal teams across Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales to achieve a unified market access strategy.

The Ideal Candidate:

We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a minimum experience in market access within the pharmaceutical industry. Proven success in securing market access for new or existing products is essential. You possess a deep understanding of the healthcare reimbursement landscape and a strong ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

To excel in this role:

  • In-depth knowledge of the specific market access landscape and financing mechanisms relevant to the company's region.
  • Proven experience navigating pricing, reimbursement, and HTA processes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, especially with payers at all levels.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Impressive presentation and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of legal and regulatory issues impacting health economics, labelling, and promotional claims.
