Product Specialist - Neurology - Yorkshire

They are looking for an experienced Product Specialist to join their team. The role will require exceptional territory management and business planning abilities to ensure that the products are promoted to maximum effect.

The Product Specialist is responsible for project managing and co-ordinating the resources at his/her disposal to communicate the benefits of their portfolio of products to the necessary stakeholders.

A successful key account approach is necessary to achieve objectives including sales targets. The ability to generate partnership relations and be regarded as a peer by key customers is also essential. A comprehensive understanding of the evolving NHS environment is essential to carry out the role effectively.

Key target customers will include:

  • Healthcare professionals in Secondary care
  • Payors in Hospital and ICN's
  • Customer professional bodies pertinent to the business
  • Procurement managers
  • NHS Business managers

Your suitability will be defined by your previous experience in pharmaceutical hospital selling, or a strong track record of performance in GP/Hospital pharmaceutical sales.

Experience in Neurology is preferable as is experience of multichannel selling. Also, your ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders internally and externally maintaining a strong customer focus wll be key.
