How long have you been with CHASE and which geography do you cover?
Have been with CHASE since 2010 and am presently covering East and West Midlands, including Northampton
What’s your background prior to joining CHASE?
I originally trained as a PE teacher and after teaching for 4 years I joined Eli Lilly as a Medical Representative, progressing to Hospital Representative. I then relocated to Portugal and after 7 successful years setting up and running our own furniture business I returned to the UK.
What do you enjoy most about your role at CHASE?
My favourite part has got to be meeting strong candidates and helping them identify their next career step. This involves building relationships and trust so that candidates feel they are supported at every stage throughout their application.
What’s the single best bit of advice you can give to a candidate?
My one golden nugget of advice for any candidate applying for a job is read the job specification from the company thoroughly and tweak your CV accordingly. Ensure that your CV is reflecting all the key criteria included in the job spec. Plus, make sure you are using the company’s terminology, that way you are engaging with them from the offset.
