How long have you been with CHASE and what is your area of responsibility?
I joined CHASE in May 2014 after returning to the UK from Australia, where I was living for the previous four years.
My key responsibility is to build and drive a dedicated Healthcare division that operates alongside our highly successful Pharmaceutical business unit. The potential within the UK Healthcare market is huge. We look to add genuine value to our Medical Device clients with a more focused, structured and dedicated, long-term approach.
What’s your background prior to joining CHASE?
My background is over 12 years’ Healthcare recruitment experience, gained in the UK and overseas. I have recruited for Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Life-Science organisations at all levels, from sales up to board-level and also worked on international assignments across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
What types of role will you be recruiting for?
I focus on commercial roles for Medical Device and Healthcare companies across the UK. This will encompass Sales, Marketing, Business and Market Development, Training and Management.
There will be a wide range of career opportunities for our new and existing candidates to consider right across the marketplace.
What’s the single best bit of advice you can give to a candidate?
The best bit of advice I can offer a candidate is regarding the interview and it’s ‘fail to prepare, prepare to fail’.
The candidate marketplace is highly competitive. It’s therefore essential that candidates take the time to undertake extensive research before attending any interview. It’s about being pro-active and going the extra mile, which can really make a difference.
