National Sales Manager - Interventional Oncology - UK

Our client is a market leading global innovator in medical device technology with a reputation for excellence worldwide.

They are now seeking an experienced and dynamic National Sales Manager to lead their Interventional Oncology business across the UK & Ireland. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability within a diverse and innovative portfolio, including:

  • Brachytherapy solutions
  • Chronic and Acute drainage portfolio
  • Central Vascular Access portfolio

You will lead a team of 7 sales professionals operating in both acute and community markets, ensuring strategic execution, commercial excellence, and strong customer engagement. This is a complex, high-visibility role requiring exceptional leadership, business acumen, and the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments within the NHS and private sectors.

About you:

  • Extensive experience in medical device sales with a proven track record of success in complex hospital environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach high-performing sales teams, including performance management and field training
  • Skilled in developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Comfortable working in clinical environments such as theatre and interventional radiology, supporting clinicians during procedures
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels in both the NHS and private sectors
  • Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and results-driven, with strong time management and prioritisation abilities in fast-paced settings
  • Ability to operate effectively within a complex, matrix organisation and maintain a sense of urgency in dynamic environments
