Business Account Manager – Obesity – Virtual/Home based

 

Our client has been translating the unmet medical needs of people living with a serious chronic disease into innovative medicines and delivery systems for nearly 100 years.

 

Their treatments today are benefiting millions of people living with diabetes, obesity, and rare blood and endocrine diseases.

They are discovering and developing innovative biological medicines and making them accessible to patients throughout the world.

 

At an exciting time of growth in their Obesity Business unit, there is a vacancy for an ambitious Business Account Manager to join an outstanding team working in a fully remote basis and focussing on the Private market.

 

This is a promotional role accountable for securing sales, developing new accounts and support existing accounts, both national and regional, in line with agreed business plans. Additionally, this role is responsible for the education of providers to improve access to high quality and good value weight management services that will improve outcomes for patients living with obesity and its associated markets of CVD and other emerging markets.

 

Key customers include clinical and non-clinical stakeholders providing private weight management or CVD services including but not limited to:

  • National and regional pharmacy groups, superintendent pharmacists and other pharmacy decision makers
  • Private Hospitals and Private Healthcare services
  • Large scale digital weight management services
  • Emerging market HCP’s/ORDM’s Other relevant ORDM’s

 

To be successful, you will be:

  • Strong understanding of the therapy areas and private market landscape, including competitor products, market dynamics and regulatory requirements
  • ABPI qualified preferred
  • Highly commercial with proven experience within pharmaceutical sales, Medtech or regulated sector
  • Proven account management experience with a track record of achieving sales targets, identifying and converting opportunities, delivering sales growth from account development and management
  • Proven track record of delivering client solutions, exceeding sales goal and improving outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to develop and expand stakeholder relationships at all levels through continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ability to work across, share knowledge and insights and influence a complex range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and persuade customers
