CHASE is recruiting for an International Sales Manager (Surgical Laparoscopic devices) on behalf of a rapidly expanding mid-sized medical technology company that's committed to improving the quality of life for millions of people in the UK every day.

Our client is a niche player in the surgical device market, across the UK and Europe and the United States. At this important time for the organisation, they are looking for a highly motivated and talented International Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing and developing both existing and new distribution partners to achieve international sales objectives in alignment with their strategic growth plan.

The primary focus is to drive sustainable financial performance and increase market share across the current and future product portfolio by fostering strong, collaborative relationships with distributor organizations and their commercial teams to join their successful UK sales team.

The product portfolio, which includes high performance devices for the operating theatre, is seen to be raising the standard in the industry and has a number of major influential surgeons already engaged.

Candidate background required:

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills, with well-developed business acumen.
  • Proven ability to manage strategic commercial relationships and key accounts within the healthcare sector.
  • Highly organised, self-driven, and effective at time management, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally up to 70% of the time.
  • Based in close proximity to a major international airport, ensuring efficient global mobility.
  • Possesses a strong clinical understanding of medical devices, enabling confident communication with healthcare professionals and clinical stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of market access and reimbursement pathways across multiple international healthcare systems.
  • Established personal network of experienced and high-performing medical device distributors across key global markets.
