Regional Business Manager - Wound Care - Republic of Ireland

Our client is a major player in the Wound Care marketplace, both here in the UK and overseas with a presence & have ambitious growth plans for the next few years.

They are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Regional Business Manager to work the above region.

In this role, you will work in partnership with all key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, develop best practice, and build a clear shared vision. You will create, foster and drive a culture of high performance within your Regional team of Territory Managers, whilst contributing to Key Opinion Leader (KOL) identification and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish the appropriate commercial plan and local territory plans in order to deliver annual sales/expectations targets.
  • Communicate effectively to the Regional team regarding KPI's, sales strategy, expectations and role requirements.
  • Lead the team to create a high performance culture where individuals seek to exceed goals and expectations.
  • Develop a high level of wound care and territory knowledge.
  • Effective performance management
  • Ensure appropriate time is spent "In field" coaching to maximise potential.
  • KOL's: identify and enhance relationships with KOL's. Identify emerging KOL's and build relationships leading to Urgo being recognised as a valued business partner.

Candidate background required:

  • Demonstrable sales / market access experience or working knowledge of the healthcare industry ideally in wound care
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a regional sales team or market access team
  • Ability to interpret and analyse sales data into strategic sales plans.
  • Excellent influencing skills.
  • Proven coaching and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
  • Results orientated
  • Ability to share company vision and drive team performance to deliver and exceed targets
