Brand & Customer Engagement Manager - Rare Oncology Launch

An opportunity to join a commercial team preparing for the launch of a new oncology treatment in a rare gastrointestinal cancer.

We are seeking a Brand & Customer Engagement Manager to support the delivery of brand strategy and healthcare professional engagement activities across the UK and Ireland.

This role combines marketing execution with external customer engagement, working closely with cross-functional colleagues to translate strategy into effective and compliant tactical initiatives.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting launch preparation activities and ensuring oncology specialists and treatment centres are engaged through appropriate omnichannel approaches.

Working within a collaborative and agile environment, the role will require strong project management, the ability to work independently and confidence engaging with healthcare professionals in both virtual and face-to-face settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of brand strategy through the development and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Deliver omnichannel engagement activities including webinars, digital programmes, medical education initiatives and congress presence
  • Develop promotional and educational materials in line with compliance standards and internal approval processes
  • Support engagement with healthcare professionals, including attendance at congresses and national meetings
  • Coordinate congress activities including symposia support, booth presence and associated materials
  • Work cross-functionally with commercial, medical, market access and international colleagues
  • Collaborate with European teams to align activities and share resources across markets where appropriate
  • Manage external agencies and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor campaign performance and support optimisation of marketing activities

Candidate Profile

  • We are looking for a commercially minded individual who is comfortable working in a hands-on, execution-focused role within a dynamic environment.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a Key Account Management background combined with experience in brand management, providing both strong customer insight and marketing execution capability.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Exposure to oncology or haemato-oncology
  • ABPI qualification
  • Experience working with promotional approval systems such as Veeva PromoMats
  • Understanding of omnichannel engagement approaches
  • Experience supporting congress activities and healthcare professional engagement
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • The ability to work independently within a matrix organisation

The Opportunity

  • This role will support launch preparation activities for a treatment targeting a rare oncology indication, working closely with clinical experts and internal stakeholders across the UK and Ireland.
  • The position is offered as a 12-18 month contract aligned to the anticipated launch timeline.

  • Leatherhead, UK
  • Hybrid working model with regular office presence required.
