National Sales Manager - Women's Health - UK

Our client is a globally operating pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets human and veterinary pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients. The company is continuously developing new drugs and treatment methods. Their core therapy areas are central nervous system (CNS) disorders, oncology and respiratory diseases.

They fight diseases by innovative treatments to improve quality of lives.

They are now seeking an outstanding National Sales Manager as they launch a new team in Women's Health.

For this specific role, they require previous relevant and recent Management experience. As successful candidate will be required to hit the ground running with building a whole new sales team, previous experience of building a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment and development of Sales Specialists
  • Leadership and management of sales team towards delivery of sales target
  • Coaching and development of selling skills
  • Be solutions oriented, resourceful, delivering creative outcomes
  • Produce and deliver against Sales Business Plan
  • Championing a return on investment mentality within the Sales Team
  • Effective management of activity levels to ensure effective calling patterns
  • Lead by example, enthusiasm and commitment the company vision and values

Experience required:

  • ABPI qualified with previous Pharmaceutical Sales Management experience
  • Be able to demonstrate continued excellence in sales performance
  • Understands and can apply account/territory business management skills
  • Able to assimilate and communicate highly technical data
  • Success orientated outlook - self starter, independent, able to make things happen
  • A creator of opportunities, able to shape solutions to meet customer needs
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Able to influence others at all relevant levels
