PART A - SUMMARY Terms & Conditions
The following is a plain-English summary for delegates at the stand. Full legal terms are set out in Part B.
The Competition
- Open to delegates attending NHS ConfedExpo 2026 (10–11 June 2026) at Manchester Central only.
- Organised and promoted by CHASE Search & Selection Ltd (“CHASE”), Stand E32.
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
How to Enter
- Visit the CHASE stand (E32) and blindly select one keyring from the prize box.
- One entry per person — you may not select more than once.
- The selection must be made without prior knowledge of the contents.
Prizes
- A small number of keyrings in the box are Golden Unicorn keyrings — these are winning keyrings.
- If you pick a Golden Unicorn keyring, you instantly win a prize bundle:
- 1 × Moleskine notebook
- 1 × Parker pen
- 1 × packet of Haribo unicorn sweets
- If you do not pick a Golden Unicorn, you keep your keyring as a memento — no entry fee is forfeit.
- There are 10 winning Golden Unicorn keyrings available in total across the two days.
- Prizes are awarded immediately at the stand — none will be posted or held after the event.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
Data & Privacy
- Entering the competition does not require you to provide any personal data.
- A CHASE team member may offer to scan your event badge — this is entirely optional and consent-based.
- If you agree to badge scanning, your contact details will be added to the CHASE database and you may receive future communications from CHASE.
- You can unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting CHASE directly.
General
- CHASE is not responsible for loss, damage, or misuse of prizes once they have been awarded.
- CHASE reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the competition at any time.
- These terms are governed by promotional laws of Scotland, England and Wales.
- By participating, you agree to be bound by the full Terms & Conditions set out in Part B below.
PART B - Full Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Find the Golden Unicorn competition (“Competition”) run at NHS ConfedExpo 2026. Please read them carefully before participating.
1. Promoter
This Competition is organised and promoted by CHASE Search & Selection Ltd (“CHASE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), exhibiting at Stand E32 at NHS ConfedExpo 2026, Manchester Central, Manchester.
2. Eligibility
- The Competition is open to delegates who are physically present at the CHASE stand (Stand E32) during NHS ConfedExpo 2026 on 10th and/or 11th June 2026.
- Employees, contractors, and representatives of CHASE and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
- By participating, entrants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
3. Entry Mechanism
- Entry is made by blindly selecting one keyring from a designated selection/ prize box at the CHASE stand.
- Each individual is permitted one (1) entry only. Multiple selections by the same person are not permitted.
- The selection must be made without prior knowledge of the contents of the box.
- CHASE staff reserve the right to refuse entry where eligibility requirements are not met or where they reasonably believe the entry mechanism is being abused.
4. Prize Mechanics
- A limited number of keyrings placed within the prize box are designated as “Golden Unicorn” keyrings and represent winning entries.
- The remaining keyrings in the box are standard unicorn keyrings and do not constitute winning entries.
- There are ten (10) Golden Unicorn winning keyrings available in total across both days of the Competition.
- The number of winning keyrings remaining in the box at any given time will reduce as prizes are claimed. CHASE does not guarantee the availability of prizes throughout both competition days.
- Delegates who select a Golden Unicorn keyring will receive a prize bundle comprising:
- 1x Moleskine notebook
- 1x Parker pen
- 1x packet of Haribo unicorn sweets
- Delegates who select a standard unicorn keyring will not receive a prize but are entitled to retain the keyring selected as a complimentary item.
5. Prize Fulfilment
- All prizes are awarded immediately and in person at the CHASE stand at the time of winning.
- No prizes will be posted, reserved, held, or delivered after the event under any circumstances.
- If a winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize at the time of selection, the prize is forfeited.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
6. Competition Period
- The Competition runs exclusively during NHS ConfedExpo 2026:
- Day 1: Tuesday 10th June 2026
- Day 2: Wednesday 11th June 2026
- Entries will only be accepted while the prize box is present and staffed at the CHASE stand. Entries attempted outside these dates or times will not be accepted.
7. Data Protection & Privacy (UK GDPR)
- Participation in the Competition does not require the collection of any personal data.
- CHASE staff may, at their discretion, offer delegates the option to have their event badge scanned. Badge scanning is entirely voluntary.
- Where a delegate gives express consent to badge scanning, the following applies:
- The delegate’s contact information (as encoded in their event badge) will be collected and stored by CHASE.
- The delegate’s details will be added to the CHASE database and may be used to send future business communications, including information about CHASE services, events, and resources.
- Consent to badge scanning is given freely and may be withdrawn at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in any CHASE communication, or by contacting CHASE directly at the address or email provided in those communications.
- CHASE will process all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and any other applicable data protection legislation.
- CHASE’s full Privacy Notice is available on request from the stand or via the CHASE website.
8. Liability
- CHASE accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, theft, or misuse of prizes once they have been awarded to a winner.
- CHASE accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by participants in connection with the Competition, except where such loss or damage is caused by the negligence of CHASE or its employees.
- Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. General Conditions
- CHASE reserves the right to amend, suspend, withdraw, or cancel the Competition at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.
- CHASE reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms, who provides false information, or who acts in a manner that CHASE considers to be improper or contrary to the spirit of the Competition.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between CHASE and participants in relation to the Competition and supersede any prior representations, agreements, or understandings.
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
