Amit Patel and Cat Metcalfe.

Community pharmacy is being asked to do more than ever: delivering Pharmacy First consultations, closing health inequalities gaps, and acting as a genuine front door to neighbourhood health. For pharma, health tech and medtech teams building commercial strategy in this space, understanding how that shift feels from inside the system matters as much as the policy detail itself.

This session brings you a conversation with Amit Patel, Chief Executive of Community Pharmacy South West London, hosted by CHASE's Cat Metcalfe, with the chance to put your own questions to Amit during live Q&A. It is designed for pharma, health tech and medtech leaders shaping engagement with primary care and pharmacy, and will also offer valuable insight for NHS colleagues working on integration and access.

This session will cover:

In this conversation, Amit will share his perspective on:

  • Neighbourhood health in practice: How pharmacy, general practice and other primary care partners are working together as system boundaries blur.
  • Leadership and workforce: The realities of leading a federated pharmacy network through a period of rapid change.
