
Case Study: Building a commercial team from scratch for the launch of a new Oncology division
The challenge
A biotech company, launching their Oncology division within the UK, needed to build their commercial function including Marketing, Key Account Managers and Market Access. This had to happen within a tight timeframe to be ready to launch by the target date.
The solution
CHASE started the search for a Head of Marketing, four Senior Key Account Managers and two Market Access Managers on a permanent headcount basis.
Candidates all had to have a background in Oncology alongside launch experience.
The outcomes
Three high quality candidates for each role were put forward for first interview. The client then shortlisted two of these candidates for invitation to the assessment centre.
All roles were successfully recruited within three months with candidates who had significant Oncology experience and the right skill set to take on the challenge of launching a new department in the UK.
