Case Study: Specialist Key Account Managers – Secondary Care
Date
31st August 2021
The challenge
A specialist rare disease pharmaceutical organisation wanted to expand its presence in the UK. They had a need for 4 very senior specialist Key Account Managers.
The solution
Initially client chose to go to a European headhunter who failed to recruit any of the candidates required.
We then won a competitive pitch to recruit these roles on a permanent basis.
Candidates had to have either rare disease or oncology therapy experience, as well as proven success in market access.
The outcomes
- 3 candidates for each role put forward for 1st interview; 2 then went through to the assessment centre
- 4 Key Account Managers successfully recruited
- Recruited 2019/20
- 100% retention
Customer feedback
"To have completed this build with such a strong range of candidates really impressed us, because the project could start on time and at full capacity."
